NDC have long been established in the Food Industry supplying solutions for a wide range of products. Our understanding and knowledge of the products that drives and controls the food industry equipment is seen as the key and we are continually assessing the products.

No other industry is as broad and diverse as food manufacturing. But there’s one thing meat processors and bakers, confectioners and salad packagers, sugar refiners and cheese makers can all agree on. That’s the unrelenting demand for product quality. When people will be consuming your products, only the best will do.

Control Techniques has a broad presence across the industry. For example, its variable speed drives provide precise portion control, assembly and packaging for Europe’s largest ice cream plant. Its AC drives are used for automatic rotation and brine-washing of cheeses during the maturation process, as well as for precisely portioning blocks of cheese that can weigh as much as 85kg. And Control Techniques drives are being used in systems that clean beets for sugar production, boost production speed for packaged fried-noodle snacks, control pellet size for animal feed, and many other applications.

That’s why you’ll find Control Techniques among our 2,045 manufacturers list in our Repair Register Database.

Another collection of products to undergo our rigorous, reverse engineering techniques, are the Control Techniques Unidrive M Series – Servo Control System, found on several machines within the food industry.

The R&D department have been tasked to bring the old procedures up to the latest TEST-DIAGNOSE-REPAIR-TEST specifications for these products, ensuring that you the customer can be satisfied that when these units have been repaired they will conform in every way as efficiently and economically as their first design. That work has now been completed. We have test facilities at our Service Centre, which can test the Unidrive M Series Servo Control System. In addition to the controllers we also have the facility to repair and overhaul the associated Servo Motors. Testing is carried to manufacturer’s specifications or better to replicate in service conditions.
