Motor Training Day At NDC Elevator Drives

(MARCH 16, 2015)

NDC Elevator Drives recently hosted a training event at our Manchester facility for service and maintenance technicians from a national lift service company.

The course, 'An Introduction to Fault Finding on Elevator Motors’ was conducted at both our MRL Motor
Centre and at our Electro-Mechanical Division to incorporate both conventional and permanent magnet elevator motors.

The Head of NDC's Motor Services had this to say; "It's really about putting our specialist knowledge at the disposal of our customers, and giving them that technical edge in the field. It's also an opportunity for us to demonstrate the benefits to them of our investments into diagnostics and function testing. Additionally, we get to hear first hand about the issues lift companies are dealing with in terms of various drives, motors and controllers - which is invaluable for us too".
Course Modules included; Motor Types, Motor Parts, Windings, Thermistors, Brakes, Feedback Devices, MRL Motor Set Up, Effects of Incorrect Set Up, Troubleshooting and Preventative Maintenance Techniques.

NDC's Motor Team can undertake the removal from site - repair, service, rebuild, test and re installation of a wide range of key MRL Motors. Call us today to schedule a free and no obligation site survey 0800 0328848
